Creative Writing

My school is having a creative writing class this year and I want to do it. It will cover what I like to write about but I have to do poems as well. NO!!!!!!!!!!!! I do not like poems. The class will be of all girls except me, but I am okay with that, this wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened. Most guys want to do something more manly like sports or killing birds for no reason, but I think that I have a little more sense in what will help me later in life. Killing birds or learning how to write properly. It doesn't take a genius to know the answer. But that is my opinion, if you like to go and shoot things with a bee bee gun, go right ahead but not at me.

Head Start

In the past year I had to write a research paper and I chose to write about the steps you take in writing a book. Oh My Word! It looks to be one of the hardest jobs imaginable. It takes about a year just to get a book out there. I also found out that for a book to be in Borders it must sell at least 1,000 copies. One problem, I don't know 1,000 people to get the book. Why is it that out of all the jobs in the world I pick one that could either get me rich or get me in the poor house. My family says I could be a lawyer, but that is because I like to argue a lot. I learned a lot from that assignment, and yet I still have the crazy dream of becoming an author.

Ever so often I am going to do a "Did You Know" post for no reason at all, most things I do are for no reason at all. All these are going to be random things about stuff I find interesting, relevant, or really stupid. Feel free to write one in a comment.

The Evil S Word... School

School is starting next week and I am hating it. I am not ready and I can't work on book in school. People are so nosy sometimes. Once some girls in my class stole my note book with one of my chapters in it and read it with out my permission. I found out later and they told me it was good. I am ready for English class. We have the best teacher, she almost left to go live somewhere else with her husband, but, lucky for us, they are staying. My English teacher went to a college that i am thinking about going to, Cedarville, and she has helped me with thinking about what i could go into.

Starting the Impossible Dream

Everyone has dreams right, so why is it that my dream of being an author is so hard. Well I am going to show that I can be a great author just like C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, etc. In this Blog I am going to talk about my life as a secret author, only my family knows about my book, none of my friends do, and that is the way I like it. (I was really inspired to do this because of the movie Julie & Julia (My mom took my family to see it and it wasn't half bad, i'll admit it. Some guys might like it maybe, there are some funny parts.),) no I am not expecting many people to read this blog but there is hope. Everyone has a dream, so SPEAK UP!!!!!!!! You can write in and tell about your dream job, but nothing gross. My Wannabe job is already started, it has been almost a year since I started my book, I can't give away the title or someone might take it so I will call it CR. For years I have tried to write a book but never got past the cover, I like to draw. But now with CR I am on my way. I am a guy, in the eleventh Grade, not a huge sporty kind of person, one of the top in my class, and am lost in the college sea. Writing... Save me!
